the return i uploded for fy 2012 - 13 has already been assessed by the department and also one year is over and i missed out one of the deductions. can i file revised return

No. Return can not be revised u/s 139 (5) after assessment is completed. You need to submit rectification request u/s 154 along with supporting documents.
