Revenue Stamp Affixation on the Voucher

On what amount the revenue stamp affixation on the voucher shall be made.
Actually i want to know the amount exceeding Rs..../- on which revenue stamp can be affixed.

Please help me as soon as possible.

26 August 2008 Revenue Stamp is to be affixed in cases where the net payment to a person at one moment exceeds Rs 5000.00. As such, affix the revenue stamp in cases where the payment exceeds the said limit of Rs 5000.00.
