This query is : Resolved

04 July 2016 Mr. A has retired during the year as State govt employee, he received retirement benefit during the year such as GPF, State Insurance, Com. Pension, Leave Salary. Details of retirement benefit should be mentioned in ITR as exempted income or not.

if yes, then huge amount may be enquired by department ?????????????

Thanks

04 July 2016 Show it under exempted income. Dept will not enquire. Even if it is enquired you can show the details of receipt they will be satisfied with it.

04 July 2016 show it under exempt income. And what difference it makes if it is enquired into...you are sure...it is exempt....Why to get scared for enquiry?
