This is reddy i have one Resort Business This Turnover is more then 60 lacks per annual, this i can applaud to COT instead of VAT please clarify this under KVAT Scheme if any changes made recent please clarify sir. in resorts adventure games and rooms are also their

In a resort you may be having rooms,other luxuries,and food.For room rent and charges on luxuries Karnataka Luxury Tax Act is applicable.For the receipts related food supply VAT is leviable.This can be done either under VAT or COT.You have to register both under VAT and LT and file returns also as per these Acts.You may choose whichever is convenient to you at the time of registration.....mjk

For above case only we are charging Rs500/- per Person in this Rs.250/- Food, and Rs. 250 Including Adventures Activity and others or Mis Receipts. In This For Food i can Apply VAT or COT Balance Rs.250 Mis Expenses which tax i have to Charge Please Clarify This Sir
