Repayment of loan taken from diretor

A pvt co has taken loan from one of its director now they want to repay the same.They don't have enough money to repay. Can they repay it in any other manner than Cash.If s pls clarify me

Please give details of 'other manner' so that any expert may advise you correctly.
But prefer to repay through bank transaction.
