Relief u/s 89

23 August 2015 I have filed my F.y. 2013-14 Salary return and claim relief u/s 89 but they have intimate u/s 143 (1) that no demand no refund. I have seen my intimation in that they have written zero.

why they put zero instead of my relief amount ?

what should i do next ??

23 August 2015 Was there any refund amount in actual return?

If yes then file Online rectification request u/s 154 otherwise no need to do anything.

but why they considered relief u/s 89 as Zero

23 August 2015 Difficult to say. Ensure your claim was legitimate. If yes file online rectification request u/s 154.

23 August 2015 Did you fill form 10 E for 89 relief?

23 August 2015 yes I have calculate 89(1) in 10E form but in ITR we have to show just amount not the whole calculation but I have calcuate my relief and it is Rs. 49K so that i do not want to losoe that relief.
