My bro is doing home based catering services. Now he needs to develop his catering services to companies. Please tell what are the formats and documents to be get for registration.And other useful guidelines for expanding the business.

Please reply to my queries.Also we need a consultant to do this service.

07 April 2012 Do not go for formation of any company start in partnership with the family members as in case of company the profit earned cannot be withdrawn except the salary which to the limited extant. Give a firm name and start. Initially your brother can do it in his proprietorship and then if he wants to convert it can be converted into partnership. For proprietorship you have to procure only the municipal corporation licence with registration under shops and establishment act. For partnership firm you need a deed of partnership in addition to the documents as required for proprietorship
