Dear Sir,
One of my friend is a contractor and he want to obtain service tax registration for his proprietorship firm.
He should apply in his own name or
he should apply in the name of his firm.
Please advise me.

propritor apply for registration no in their name or if his firm is registered ,he can apply with their firm name/
