Regarding study material

20 October 2013 I am doing self study of ipcc audit and assurance subject Ie i used to study with study material only. at present iam studing only vol 1 of study material, can vol 2 can be studied along with vol 1 or i take it after completing vol 1.Vol 2 contain sa text only and i feel that if i understand the topic contained in vol 1 AS vol 1 itself has deep knowledge There is no need to study vol 2.Is it true
2) Also tell audit standard text are necessary to be quoted in examination.
