Dear sir
My query is related to house property income, X person has agreed to give his vacant land to rent for 3 years. They reached the agreemet and finalised the rental deed. The party has paid 3 years rent in the 2009-10 financial year and deducted tds u/s 194I. X person wants to know whether he can claim the rent for t this year i.e 2009-10 & asst.yr 2010-11 and the rest in the next 2 years. Is it possible ? and also whether he can claim 30% under house property.
