my friend has sold a land for rs 20 lakh which was purchased by his Late mother before 1981.Now the land has been sold by him and he want to purchase the another land during the year of sale. but in tha name of her wife.
the question is he will get the capital gain exemption benefit if he purchased property in the name of wife.
