05 November 2011 If the return is filed within the prescribed period than it can be revised before the completion of the next assessment year.

Which Return???? Inocme Tax or ROC.I am asking about Balance sheet which has signed by auditor [Not Return]If we can revise the balance sheet then pls confirm the section or case law if any.

05 November 2011 The amount of the balance sheet is required to be mentioned in the IT return so in case of change in the Balance Sheet it will affect the authenticity of the Return, so I am talking about the Return, but in certain case balance sheet can be alter without affecting the amount mention in the Return.

My question is not related with return.I am asking only regarding balance sheet.So please clarify that can we revise audited balance sheet mean we have finalized balance sheet and then we want to give some effect in balance sheet which we forgotton or by mistke .Can we require to re audit and re signed and refile ROC return.If yes the pls clarify what are the formalities and procudures.
