A prop. firm has filed quarterly vat reurn for the ist quarter for NIl as there is no sale or purchase transaction.
Pls tell can he filled after that half yearly or yearly vat return only as he is estimating his turnover for less than 2 lacs for the entire year

VAT return is need to file as per state VAT act requirment, once you register under VAT the same need to be complied,we cannot decide the periodcity of return based on our turnover.
so if your VAT act specify to file Quarterly return the same need to file, even nil return
