Refund order and address

17 July 2012 hello sir ,

i have some prctical difficulty .

when we applied for pan card we mention the office or business address and residential address . and after allotment of pan card that addresses recorded on department database .
and when we need to change communication address in the itr return due to shifting of home or business .

on which address department will communicate or send refund order
that is 1 on the address in database or 2 written in itr

2 when we select refund by check and not by ecs micr code is mandatory

3 income tax refund order (cheque) can be deposited only in the bank brach or specific account number which we have mentioned in the return or in any other bank account of an aseessee

kindly through lights on it

17 July 2012 You can change the address by submitting the PAN correction form with NSDL. The notice will come at address at ITR but sometimes notices are send at addressess in PAN Database. So better you get address corrected.
Further the refund cheque can be deposited only in the specific account
