On filing Income Tax Returns and paying taxes, the PAN was quoted wrong during last 6 years. What is the legal complications of this mistake (with reference to the Act)? No intimations or notices from Income Tax Department is received yet. What are the corrective measures to be taken?

Penalty under section 272B can be imposed for each year @ Rs.10,000/- Last two years return (fin year 2008-09 and 2009-10)if filed in time can be revised under section 139(5) with correct PAN.
