dear sir,
i want to show the premium amount of my insurance as well as my wife, because i am depositing both the premium amount.can i do so? if i can, then please make me understand
how i calculate them in 80c column. pls clarify it with example.

Any amount that you pay towards life insurance premium for yourself, your spouse or your children can also be included in Section 80C deduction.
So you can claim the deduction for LIC premium paid on policy of both your and your wife. Just put the total figure in 80C column.
