Sir / Ma'am,

I have a query regarding Trading on Online. I want to do Trading of Used goods on Online ( ie; Trading of Used Mobile phones on ebay.in ) throughout India / interstate Trading. As I am located in Kolkata, West Bengal - so my query is - what are the Licences do I need - for Trading Used goods on Online, such as - VAT + CST, Service tax, Trade licence etc. So , it would be highly appreciated if the accurate information regarding this matter is provided.

27 March 2012 if you trading then following are least requirements:

1. Shop establishment licence.
2. Online Trading Licence/No Objection Certificate with cyber laws,
3. Trading Of Goods:
a)within state-VAT.(registration mandatory if sales are more than specified limit as per West Bengal VAT Laws)
b) out of state - CST.
4. if you provide service of Agency with buyer and sellers then Service Tax number is required only when value of service exceeds 10 lakhs in a financial year.
