14 October 2011 Dear Sir,
We have received a demand from IT dept based on the IT returns filed.

Since, there was error in the return submitted and subsequent error in the demand, we had filed a rectification immediately on receipt of demand.

The tax mentioned on the demand has not been paid as on date, since the rectification has been filed, as opined by tax consultants.

What will be process that will be taken up by the CPC bangalore to close this issue.
