1. Is GST and Income Tax is Interrelated?
2. ABC is a composite dealer in GST and havn't submitted his return till now, but in IT return he have showed a turnover of 17 Lacs. So should he submit his GST Return based on IT or He can file as per books?

From AY 2017-18 onwards the turnover shown in ITR should match with the turnover shown in GST or in other words the turnover shown in GST must be the turnover in ITR as well.
28 April 2019
Now Government is on the path of Interlinking of Indirect Tax Turnover with ITR Turnover. So it is advisable that both turnovers must be the same.
