re register of vat

It varies in each state.In respect of taxable stock held at the time of registration,but,locally purchased from RDs within previuos month can be claimed as ITC in the first return. In some states this limit is upto past three months,and also from the commencement of financial year of registration.Please check with some experts of your state......mjk
