friends... if assessees income form salary is above 30000 p.m. then whether he has to pay proffessional tax?? what is procedure n due date of that?? he has not yet filled any return... its urgent.. thank you...

Yes, but it is very nominal. The company has to pay the tax amount.

The company will deduct Profession tax from salary. Rates differ from state to state

Yes. Employer will deduct the Professional tax based on state act
