If a comapany doing business more than one state, any possibility is there having Professional tax registration centralised in one state

no.. you have to registered in every area where r u working for your different branches.

1. the professional tax is under the purview of the state.
2. It is applicable on the employement within the state.
3. The employer is required to be registered with Local Sales Tax Authorities.
4. Periodical returns are to be submitted.
5. Annual Professional Tax is also to be deposited with the Sales Tax Authorities by the employer.
6. Regular assessment procedings are to be carried on along with Sales Tax assessment.
7. Professional Tax also required to be deducted from employees as per slab applicable in the state.
8. The Rules may differ from state to state.
