13 February 2012 Sir,
I just want to know is it necessary to deduct pt from salary.

Can i pay the gross salary to employee and pay the Profession tax amount from the company.

Please clarify

13 February 2012 Professional tax need to be deduct from employee salary. it employer option the same can be paid by own

03 March 2012 Professional tax need to deposited with Govt. It can be deducted from salary or employer can also opt to pay from his own pocket.
