What is the procedure for making a gift in DD.
1.My uncle want to make a gift in form of DD to his daughter.
2.can a person who is not relative of that daughter can make a gift to her on her marriage.
what is the procedure for that.as per the income tax law.
Is wrritten record of such gift required to submit in income tax department.

No format as such, but that person should have sufficient means to give the gift and if the donee is selected for scrutiny, he must co operate in the proceedings. First he must file his return.
