while filling the return of A.Y 12-13 the amount of preliminary exp. was written off 1/10th but as per 35d it has to be 1/5th. Now how can we correct this error in the return of A.Y 13-14

you need to file revise return u/s 139(5)as till 31.3.2014 you can revise but no assessment order should have been passed in this respect.
if assessment order is passed then file online rectification petition u/s 154.
