11 April 2013 some of my friends told me that if you deposit Rs. 50000/- or more in PPF a/c in single installment then you can not claim PPF as deduction u/s 80C

is it right or not ??

pls explain it in simple way

11 April 2013 no such rule as per the provision of Income tax act.

but you need to see the PPF act stating such conditions if any
