If for e.g M/s AB ltd provided taxable services valuing Rs. 12lakhs on 19/6/12 and part payment Rs. 4,00,000/- received on 21/6/12 & balance payment received on 2/8/12 the invoice thereof is issued on 22/8/12. what will be the POT for the above advances?

19/6/2012 is the POT, because of you didn't issued invoice with in 14 days from the date of completion of service.

Yes, it from 1-4-2012. I am sorry to my mistake i think your question related prior to 31-3-2012 because before answering to your query i just answered as query regarding to prior to 31-3-2012 so on that view i answered you. So replace my answer with 30 days instead of 14 days. Event though your date of service(POT) is 19-6-2012 because you didn't issued invoice with in 30 days.
