28 August 2010 1. What are the current rates of EPF & ESI ?

2. When EPF & Esi will be applicable on Firms & companies ?

Plz ans my above questions..

28 August 2010 PF is 12 % on basic by employee and employer another 12 % on basic (which consists of 8.33% pension & 3.67% PF)

ESI= 4.75 % on basic by employer and 1.75% on basic by employee,So total =6.5%

EPF applicable for employer having 20 or more employees in employement

ESI applicable for employer having 10 or more employees in employement
