27 February 2014 I am putting an example for pf & esi query.In a company there is 100 employees in pf & esi. Suppose there is total liabilty of pf & esi is 2,00,000/-.There is fund crisis in company.My question is that whether we can make payment in part suppose total liability of 15 employees is 20,000. then we only make challan for that 15 employees and balance should be deposit later on. Please suggest whether we can do it.

27 February 2014 in my opinion you cannot discharge part liability. Instead you can make an application seeking relief to postpone payment stating financial crisis.
