Whether a Partnership Firm being a branch of Company (different state) required to take different PAN under Partnership Status?

Partnership firm can't be branch of a company. If it is a partnership firm it is a separate legal entity requires different PAN.

Dear Friend,
An organisation (whether proprietary firm,partnership firm, LLP, Ltd. Company)may have a number of branches situated in different states but only single PAN is required for the organisation as a whole.
An organisation can never have more than one PAN may be there are 20 branches of the organisation located in 20 different states.
**** DIFFERENT TAN(S) MAY BE REQUIRED FOR BRANCHES IN DIFFERENT STATES BUT NOT PAN.
Further, a partnership firm cannot be a branch of a company. It can be a member of a Company. Partnership firm is having legal status separate from company. Partnership firm must have a separate PAN.
