26 February 2013 Dear Sirs,

Is it necessary to fill up the office address in case where I am showing an individual's "SOURCE OF INCOME" a Salaried Person ?

Another thing is that if a person can not produce his Salary Slip but insisting to be shown him in IT as a Salaried Person then what to do.

26 February 2013 Office address is not required.

If source of income is salary, there is no harm in mentioning so

26 February 2013 Item no 7 of the 'instruction for filling from 49A' is copied here under.

"Name of Office and address to be mentioned in case of individuals having source of income as salary....."

In view of the above, if not filled in, the form will be rejected / put under objection either on submission or in the course of processing.

I have filled up without office address and got PAN.

Anyways we need to comply with the instructions.
