HI,
Could any one help me in telling -
I was working with organization A & given the resign, x amount of notice period was being deducted. That x amount is the part of Form 16 as salary head.
I have joined organization B & they paid me that x amount. They given me Form 16 & TDS deducted on x amount.
Now both a & b organization has taken the amount x in form 16 & cut the TDS.
What should be it as per law & under what clause to give them evidence.

The first company A not actually paid the salary which is recovered, they cannot deduct the TDS and show in the form 16 , current employer having responsibility to deduct the TDS while reimburse the same, while consolidating the return you can show the same
