From the income tax point of view Notice period salary paid to employee is to be shown as income or to be deduct from salary & wages account.

if pay by the company then it is exp. for that.
if company received from the employee then you show as indirect income or adj with wages a/c
if company received from the employee then you show as indirect income or adj with wages a/c
