28 February 2013 dear sir, i am working in pvt firm i forgot to file the rate wise detail of closing stock now i have received FORM DVAT-24A FROM D-VAT OFFICE TO DEPOSIT RS. 10000 AS PENALTY FOR NOT FILLING THE ABOVE MENTIONED DETAIL IN TIME, I AM IN DEEP TROUBLE AS MY OWNER GOING TO DEDUCT THIS AMOUNT FROM MY SALARY.CAN THIS PENALTY REVERSED OR CAN I FILE APPEAL AGAINST IT AND HOW TO FILE CAN ANYONE BAIL ME OUT KINDLY GIVE YOUR ADVICE URGENTLY. IF YOU FORGET TO FILE YOUR RATE WISE LIST OF CLOSING STOCK . THAN GOVT HAS NOT POWER TO IMPOSE PENALITIES ON YOU.

THIS SYSTEMS HAS BRING TO PROVIDE TAX CREDIT TO TRADER . SO YOU HAVE TO CONTACT WITH YOU LAWYER AND FILE THE APPEAL WITH CONCERNED AUTHORITES.

AND NO NEED TO PAY.

YOU HAVE TO ASK WITH YOUR LAWYER WHY HE HAS NOT SUGGEST YOU TO DO SO .

THERE IS NO MISTAKES AT YOUR END.

we are not having services of lawyer, I am looking after d-vat in firm, d-vat deptt. already sent the assessment order regarding the penalty,can you please suggest how to appeal and on which d-vat form and to which department of d-vat.can I myself file the appeal? please help me
