NOITCE TO INADMISSIBLE ITC CLAIMED

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a notice received for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) in GSTR 3B returns for December 2018 to March 2019, filed after the Section 16(4) deadline. The user clarifies that ITC for the respective months was claimed, not for the previous financial year, and the returns were filed with late fees. Guidance is sought on whether this constitutes a violation of Section 16(4) of the CGST Act and how to handle pending tax for the 2017-18 annual return.
