New password for e-filing

23 February 2012 From where the new password for the e-filing on "incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in" be obtained if someone has missed the password along with the security question & also he has not filed any e-return before?

Kindly reply on urgent basis....

23 February 2012 You shall have to contact the Aaykar Sampark Kendra delhi in such a case , they shall verify your identity and regenerate a username and password and communicate to you.

23 February 2012 Write a email to ask@incometaxindia.gov.in with the following details :

I haveĀ forgot the password as well as the security question for efiling income tax return...

My details are as under :

Name : XXX

Father's name

PAN no. XXXXXXXXXXX

Date of Birth

Mobile No.

Pls send me password for efiling for my userid at the earliest.

Also alternatively you can contact on number 0124 - 2438000.

24 February 2012 We have tried both of the options but no response is received. Even we got no answers from ask@incometaxindia.gov.in.
Also, the number 0124-2438000 is also not working.
Also, we got a link from the local department that a mail is to be sent to administrator@incometaxindia.gov.in. but, we got a failure notice for the same.

Kindly give us some other solution if there is any.
