If your TDS claim on the income tax portal doesn't match your 26AS statement, it can lead to interest charges. The issue often resolves after filing your return, but if not, you can file a rectification request on the income tax portal. This should correct the discrepancy if your claimed TDS aligns with your 26AS. If the problem persists, consider seeking assistance from tax experts.
