Mismatch in form16 and 26as

Dear Sir,
My gross total income is Rs.757957.00 and tax deducted from source is Rs. 63442.00 in the financial year 2013-2014, as per certificate (Form 16) given by employer. But, in 26 AS my gross total income shown Rs. 648891.00 and tax deposited Rs.55316.00.I already inform to the deductor about the above mismatch.They told me that it will be corrected but will take time.In this situation can I submit my return online within 31 st. july,14 editing the above two field in income tax return as per form 16.

Yes you can submit your income tax return as per actual by editing the above mentioned fields. Once the employer files revised return the 26AS amount will match and there will not be any issue.
