24 August 2012 one listed company want to acquire shares of pvt ltd company by issue of its own shares. In future private limited company will merge with listed company. Is there any restirction for merger?????????

24 August 2012 Yes. clause 49 of listing agreement will come into play.

30 August 2012 If a private limited company acquire a company by issue of its own shares whether section 42 of companies act, 1956 will be applicabale???????
