Is there any new notification w.e.f 01.07.2011 that it will be mandatory for all assessees filing the Income Tax Return online need to file with a digital signature.
Is there any such notification and whether the requirement of digital signature is mandatory for all the assessees.

As per Notification No. 49/2010 dated 9 July 2010 & . 37/2011 [F. No. 149/68/2011-So (Tpl)], Dated 1-7-2011 all persons are covered under section 44AB are mandatorily required to file ITR electronically using digital signature.
