Is TDS to be deducted on maintenance charges payable to Association for Commercial Building? upto June'11 Association was collected maintenance charges on the basis of actual electricity bills divided among the tenant. From July '11 onwards lumpsum amount and that would around Rs.24,000/ per quarter. The Association has not given details of expenditure but told includes electricity,repair & maintenance charges lift borewell(based on estimate but actual expenditure may vary),payment of salary of staff etc.
If the association gives certificate that the amount charging by them is reimburse type and they are not making any profit then is tds deductable?
