last date for submission return

24 April 2009 hello everyone

the last date for submission of service tax return is 25th April 2009, but it is on Saturday can it possible to file on 27th of April 2009,

if yes are there any circular or notification

plz help me

25 April 2009 In Kerala it is possible. The Cochin commisonarate has informed to service providers vide paper news repots of today.Like wise you may check up with your jurisdictional commissionarate.

N.B:- Look at the question. It is not feb but April.

25 April 2009 It is legally possible. Please refer Clause 1 of Section 10 of General Clauses Act, 1897

25 April 2009 It is also possible as per Limitation Act. If there is a holiday on the last date, the papers can be filed on next working day.
