I had some shares in my name can i transfer it to huf as a gift if yes is there any procedure to do the same pls also guide any other avenues to create corpus for huf

09 March 2012 Although there is no restriction on gifting assets to a HUF, but in such case the income arising from those shares (dividend & capital gain on subsequent sale of such shares) will be clubbed in your hand u/s 64(2).
