17 November 2011 Can anybody pls tell me that which form is to be file for submitting the returns?
I mean, which form for salaried people having other income from Bank interest, then which form for salary & income from other sources (other than Bank Interest) etc.

17 November 2011 you can file ITR-1 or ITR-2....ITR-2 is best for you

17 November 2011 yes you can file ITR-2 for income from salary,HP,capital gain & other sources..but ITR-2 not applicable for income from business & profession

17 November 2011 ITR-4 you can use for all incomes....ITR-4 applicable only in case of individual & HUF

17 November 2011 Hello Mr. Vishal, Thnx for all your replies. Now I just would like to ask u one query that I have filed my return for FY 2010-11 by submitting ITRV -1 but I had income from other sources (other than interest) also & second problem was I mentioned Rs. 9500/- towards mediclaim but actually I paid around Rs. 4831/- only. Now I am ready to pay tax but can u tell me how to rectify it & resubmit the return?

17 November 2011 file revised return u/s 139(5) for rectification.,..and correct your mistake in revised return..you can file revised return if you file earlier return(original return u/s 139(1) mean before due date.
