05 August 2011 I filed the ITR4 for the F.Y. 2009-2010 on 31.07.2010. While I logged on to web portal of Income Tax India E-Filing and gone to see status of my e-return processing, I seen that my ITR4 was transferred on 08.04.2011 out of CPC to the Jurisdiction Assessing Officer in Income Tax Office. A refund of Rs.5000/- is due in my above return. I did not find any reason for such an action of CPC, however, if my case is gone for scrutiny, please advice me upto what time should I wait for intimation or scrutiny proceedings. Is there any time limit stipulated in Income Tax Act. Please advice
