MY WIFE HAVE INCOME FROM SALARY FOR THE YEAR 2009-2010 (SHE IS TEACHER IN PRIMARY SCHOOL) I.E. RS. 108000/- APPX. & JOB WORK CHARGES OF RS. 30000/-PY. & NSC INCOME OF RS. 26000/-. LET ME KNOW WHICH ITR I HV.TO FILE. IS THERE ANY LATE FEES WE HV. TO PAY TO IT DEPT.

ITR-4

is there any penalty for not filling return for the FY 09-10? till todate i hv. not filled.

09 February 2011 You may file the return for FY 2009-10 till 31.3.2011, by paying interest on tax liability only. Department generally does not levy penalty in small cases.

Assessment Year of this period will be AY 2010-11.

can i file online bz. i m late. or sh. i file offline i.e. hardcopy.

09 February 2011 You can file the return on-line till 31.03.2011 even without any penalty.
