I file itr only for taking tds refund. my income does not exceed 12000 p.a. of interest I hv only income of rs 12000 in whole year so I filed itr for gross income of rs 12000 and take tds refund.
I want to know that should I filed it upto exempt limit, is there any benefit are there of filing itr with some big amount bout under the exempt limit

The amount of income declared in the return is used for the purpose of bank loans. You may need a bank loan in the future so you may act accordingly.
