Sir,
I downloaded ITR 1 Excel Utility from incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. When I try to generate xml or calculate tax, error appears which says "Enter MICR code, Bank A/c no. & Bank A/c type"
Refund is NOT claimed, still the error appears.
I scraped the file and downloaded it again, but error persists.
Is it mandatory to give these details for AY 2012-13?

It is mandatory to provide bank details even in case of no refund.
