my salary income is below 160000/- in 2009-10. instead of it i want to file itr. tell me it will be acceptable by the depart me nt of such a nil itr ,

by Sec. 139(1) tells about that if any one having income above taxable than he should file it return , so if you have lower income it is not mandatory but you can file your return with it department.
