31 July 2010 If an PAN holder already filed a return for one year, thenafter he shifted to abroad as NRI , whether he need to file the tax returns for progresseive years for his NRI income.

31 July 2010 If his income is crossing the exemption limit . then he will required to file income tax return.

01 August 2010 In case of a non resident, income earned/accrued/deemed to be accrued outside India is not taxable in India & hence not required to file IT returns for such income.

However, if the non resident has any income in India which exceeds the basic exemption limit, he has to file his ITR for such income which is taxable in India.
